PAUL H. MCRAE, O.D.
Dr. McRae has practiced in Carrollton for almost twenty years. He attended The Florida State University for his undergraduate work and obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree Magna Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1988. He also graduated with honors as a part of Beta Sigma Kappa, the Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. McRae began practicing in Georgia in 1988 and founded Carrollton Family Vision Practice in 1989. He is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Optometric Extension Program. Dr. McRae frequently participates in volunteer projects providing eyecare for underpriviledged children, working poor adults and their families, and senior adults. In addition he has also acted as an independent consultant for the Georgia State Board of Optometry in writing testing materials for state board examinations. Dr. McRae is married with two children and lives in Carrollton.
Since each individual has unique needs Dr. McRae enjoys listening to patients, getting to know them and using his knowledge to provide the best solutions for their eye care even in the most challenging cases. He has been known to discuss healthy habits with his patients openly and emphasizes that good habits result in good vision. Dr. McRae is committed to caring for the health and vision of the entire family and believes each family member should enjoy comfortable vision, stylishly.
